I had the worst experience ever with…

I had the worst experience ever with this company. I made flight reservations which had to be cancelled due to covid, I received an e credit, no problem. I just booked a another flight and was told I had 24 hour in which I can cancel. Well before the 24 hours I tried to cancel, they said I could no problem, I am now told I will loose all my $400.00 if I cancel. I am not asking for a refund just another e credit. i am calling yet again to see if I can get this problem resolved. I will never use Cheap Tickets again EVER. SO AFTER A NUMBER OF CALL I STILL AM GOING TO LOOSE ALL MY MONEY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TELL ME THAT WOULD HAPPEN ALL THEY SAID IS I CAN CANCEL MY RESERVATION. WHAT A RIP OFF AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Hidden fees and lies

The first night was beyond horrible. Extremely loud rap music and drunk people in the cabin next to us partying till after 10pm then back at it at 8am. Beware of hidden cleaning fees tacked onto your hotel price after you book. Our room went from $126 a night to $146 after booking! Triple check your reservation details too! The room description on cheap tickets was inaccurate and NOT the booked room. The owner wanted to charge another $20 a night for a jetted tub that was in the description on cheap tickets but NOT the actual booked room. She did waive that fee for us. Also Cheap tickets had the room for $28 dollars less three weeks later for the exact same booked room the weekend we were staying. I was told that they would price match no problem. That was a lie. It was ultimately up to the hotel if they wanted to price match or not. Guess what big surprise they chose not to. I will never book or recommend Cheap tickets or Golden Bear cottages to anyone for all the hidden fees, inaccurate room bookings, and all the hours I spent on the phone trying to get it all corrected without spending another $80 in hidden fees and upcharges. To bad though, the owner is nice and cottage was cozy.

Bait and Switch

This is not my first time using this service, but it will be my last. Reserved a car through them over a month ago. Reservations quoted me $696 including taxes and fees. Go to pick up my car and they told me it would be $1300 plus a deposit. They told me I had to take it up with CheapTickets. They would not honor the reservation even though I had printed it up. Now I am on vacation without a car. Have had to cancel plans. What is the point in providing this service if they are going to lie. Don't get me wrong, I hold Hertz responsible as well. NEVER again.

Awful Service and Loyalty

Customer service has been absolutely impossible. Upon calling I'm told it will be 3-6 hours before I can speak to an agent. Sure, I request a call back. What happened when they called me back? They hung up on me before I even spoke to a person. Start the cycle again... Unacceptable that you cannot speak to someone within a reasonable timeframe. They sure make it easy to take your money. But if you need help, forget it.
Furthermore I have been using this site for at least a decade, and their rewards are virtually non-existent. Maybe they throw me $5 off once a year.
I will never use CheapTickets.com again.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A THIRD PARTY…

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A THIRD PARTY AIRLINE VENDOR. Our reservation was messed up by their agents over and over. We lost so much time and money trying to get our new itinerary to work and in the end all they gave us to compensate for their mistakes was a $50 credit. They are just completely useless. Don't use them. Purchase direct with the airline or Expedia

Cheap tickets

I booked a flight for myself and my mom. We have used Cheap tickets in the past. But, this time I booked well in advance and 2 weeks later I get an email saying that our flight from Eugene to Orlando had been changed. And then I get another email saying that our flight from Orlando to Eugene has also changed. I paid for cancelation fees. They are quick to take your money. But, they won't refund. Give you an ecredit.

Do not use Cheaptickets.com

I am giving cheaptickets.com a 1 start because zero is not an option. Cheaptickets may work to book flights under simple circumstances, but god forbid life happens (which almost always does) and a refund/credit, reschedule or other circumstance is needed. To make use of a credit with this company, be prepared to wait on hold upwards of 4 hours. Also, do not fall for the "call back queue" option, you'll never get a call back (tried on multiple occasions). I had no choice but opt for holding on the line for what was said to be a 2 hour wait that turned out to be 3 before someone came on the line. Once I got on the line with someone, they spoke to me for a few minutes, pulled up some information and as soon as I asked for clarification and/or breakdown of difference in cost the guy (not gentleman) hung up. So, here goes... another 4 hour wait to try to reach another agent, start all over again and hope he/she does not disconnect the call, as there is no accountability to poor customer service, there is no one who will care about customer issues. The guy who hung up will never have to deal with his lack of customer service and can arbitrarily hang up on any call he doesn't feel like working as there is no consequence. This company is trash as it pertains to customer satisfaction. Save your time and money and use someone else.

POSSIBLE FRADULENT USE OF IATA LOGO CHEAP TICKETS

I have contacted IATA today, as they display IATA LOGO on their websites. This is the text of the communication.
A company I booked airline tickets with in March 2020, has consistently refused to pay a partial refund they have agreed to. The flight was cancelled as advised by them. The company involved is cheaptickets (thailand)
However this company is brandishing the IATA logo, claiming it is an 'AFFILIATE MEMBER' OF IATA.
The company's headquarters are in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It has many other connected websites around the world, all their sites display the IATA logo.
It has consistently failed to refund passengers for airline tickets, some of which the airlines have refunded to the 'Cheap Tickets' over the last year.
My questions are:-
Is Cheap Tickets an affiliate member of IATA?
If is not, how can you stop Cheap Tickets, in it's various forms from displaying your logo, and asserting it is an affiliate member?
Cheap Tickets operate through a range of websites.

DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM HERE. I’m near positive that Cheap Tickets is a scam. Sent me an itinerary number that doesn’t work for anything, and good luck getting ANYTHING out of them through customer service. If you need anything, you have to go straight through the airline. We’re stuck right now because we purchased our whole trip through them, but I wish we never had.

This was the worst experience.
Nothing about the original flight stayed the same. The airlines (Jetblue and Avianca) were changing information cheaptickets never told me. I ended up paying for a hotel due to a 24 hour layover.
No one is responsible and no can help

Don't give your money to Cheaptickets

This is not a business, but a bunch of criminals.
Because of COVID (therefore not my fault) my flight was cancelled, British Airways returned my money without any issue, Cheaptickets instead refused to return the $65 fee.
I hope they go out of business ASAP; a company speculating on this pandemia does not deserve to be on the market.
